I recall a scene from 'Hail Hail Rock and Roll' where Chuck Berry notices something Keith Richards is playing and says (paraphrasing) "How come you never do jazz, you're so good at it?" to which Keith replies "No money in it."

Hello
I like this blog very much because It always gives me more and more new information.Hey Jay Z is my all time favorite.Thank you very much for sharing this with us.

There is one line that made my head explode the first time I heard it, from Moment of Clarity:

"If skills sold, truth be told
I'd probably be, lyrically, Talib Kweli."

Well, Jay-Z -- you don't need any more money. Why DON'T you be, lyrically, Talib Kweli? Because you're not that good.

In "Ghetto Show" Kweli replies:

''If lyrics sold, then truth be told
I'd probably be just as rich and famous as Jay-Z"

So much less obnoxious, and yet funny.
