This is comedy.

Go watch. This scene - in which Kramer explains the fate of her pinky toe - is one of my favourite pieces of comedy. Seinfeld is for me the comedy polestar of the 90's (not The Simpsons, as it is for many people my age), and when Michael Richards comes close to busting up laughing in the middle of this demented one-man performance, I just get transported. Awesome.
