You know why nearly everyone in The Matrix Reloaded's last human city, Zion, is black and English-speaking?
Because it makes sense that the people getting most royally fucked over in the Matrix world would seek solace elsewhere. The question, then, is what these old educated (tenured, in the case of Cornel West) bastards are doing on the board of directors! Who elected these dudes? No wonder Morpheus has so much sway.
